Rows and Columns |
After you create a table, you can add cells,
rows and columns as needed. To insert a row Select a row.
On the Table menu, point to Insert, and then click Rows or
Columns. Click Rows, enter the number of rows to insert, and
specify where to place them. To insert a column Select a column.
On the Table menu, point to Insert and then click Rows or
Columns. Click Columns, enter the number of columns to insert,
and specify where to place them. You can also insert rows
or columns by selecting a row or column and then clicking
Insert Rows or Insert Columns on the Tables toolbar. A new
row is inserted above the selected row or a new column is
inserted to the left of the selected column.
Type 1,
2, 3, 4 in the table.
Right Click the second
row in the table. (3rd or 4th
cell)
Select 'Insert
Row' from the pop up menu.
A row is inserted above the second
row (between row 1 and 3). Right Click the first
cell in the table (from cell
1 to 3).
Select
'Insert Column'.
A column is inserted before the selected
column (between columns 1 and 2).
