You can manage your web more effectively
by adding detailed properties to files. For example, you can
modify the title of the file, add a comment indicating work
that needs to be done, categorize the file and so on. In any
view except Tasks view, right-click the file or files and
then click Properties on the shortcut menu. The page property
dialog box appears.
General Tab
The General Tab displays a panel containing
general instruction about the page. This panel shows the page's
current URL and lets you change the page's title. In this
panel you can also set the page's default target frame. You
can use this panel to specify a background sound.
Background Tab
The Background tab allows you to set background
image for the page. You can also set the background color
for the pages.
Margins Tab
The Margins tab allows you to set the top
and left margin for the page.
Custom Tab
The Custom tab displays a panel that controls
the inclusion of META tags in the page. This META tag can
supply special instructions to a Web browser, such as an expiration
date or a display-refresh value.
Language Tab
The Language tab displays a panel that determines
which character will appear when the page is viewed in a web
browser.
In the page properties custom tab, system
defined and user defined Meta variables are set. To add information
to the HTTP header for a page, add a system META-variable
that corresponds to the HTTP-EQUIV attribute in the META tag
and will not be visible to site visitors. This Meta tag can
supply special instruction to a web browser, such as an expiration
date or a display-refresh value. Information is added to the
HTTP header for a page by adding a user-defined META-variable
which corresponds to the NAME attribute in the META tag.
System Variables (HTTP-EQUIV)
Lists the system META tags that use the
HTTP-EQUIV attribute as the Name portion of their name-value
pairs. This variable will not be visible to the site visitor.

User Variables
Lists the user-defined META tags that use
the HTTP-EQUIV attribute as the Name portion of their name-value
pairs. This variable will not be visible to the site visitor.

The page options dialog box customizes the
appearance of the pages. You can set the spell check options,
the color-coding, the compatibility of servers, the default
font etc.
General
In General tab of the page options dialog
box options for spell check and for forms can be set.
Auto Thumbnail
The Auto Thumbnail tab helps in formatting
the picture appearances on a page. The default width, border
settings and bevel effects can be specified.
Default Font
Default language settings can be mentioned
in default font tab.
HTML Source
The HTML source tab allows the user to specify
informations for formatting and saving the documents.
Color Coding
This tab option provides options for changing
the text color. Color of the code.
Compatibility
Information about the server support and
the technology support for the page is specified using this
tab.
