Import pictures and videos to a web so that
you can quickly access the files you need. For instance, you
can add pictures to your web, one by one, by adding each picture
to a page and then save the page. However, if you know that
you will be using a certain group of pictures, you can import
them all at once into a folder you specify in your web. Then,
when you want to add a picture to a page, you can access it
quickly without having to look for it in the file system.
You can also import graphics by clicking and dragging the
files (for example from your desktop) into the Folder List
or Contents pane in FrontPage.

Right click Start
button. |
|
|
Select Explore. |
|
|

named "Picture1". |
|
|
Right Click "Picture1". |
|
|
Select Copy. |
|
|
Select Microsoft
FrontPage from the task bar. |
|
|
Select Folders
view. |
|
|
Right click Folder
list pane. |
|
|
Click Paste
from the popup menu. |
When you add graphics such as pictures,
animations and videos to your web, the size of your web will
quickly increase. The size, quality, type and number of graphics
are important considerations if your Internet service provider
has limited the size of your web. By Resampling a picture
it changes its pixel size to match its current display size.
For example, if you resize a picture to 50% of its original
size, the picture appears smaller on the page, but the file
size is unchanged- resizing a picture, only changes the HTML
tags that tell the Web browser how to display the picture.
But, when you resample the picture, the file size is reduced
to match the smaller size.
Select the picture,
which was resized.
On the picture toolbar click the
Resample Icon.
The picture is now re-sampled. Select
the Save icon.
