You can insert a table within a cell in an existing table. In Page view, position the insertion point in the cell where you want to insert a table. Click Insert Table and then drag down and to the right until the number of rows and columns you want in the table is displayed.

Select the first cell in the table.

Select Table menu.

Select insert.
