Sheets Work?
Cascading style sheets , also called as
CSS or simply styles, lets you assign several properties at
once to all the elements on your page marked with a particular tag.
Some Advantages
of Using Style Sheets
With styles all the formatting information
is centralized either at the top of the page or in a separate
document. Styles makes it easy to create a common format for
all your web pages and still only have to define the styles
once. Changes made are fast and global.
You can write one style
sheet with a number of different properties and attach
this style sheet to every page on your site.
If you do create a uniform
style sheet for your site, you can revise that single
file and give your entire web site a facelift.
You no longer have to rely
on tricks and misuse of HTML elements to achieve some
typographical effects.
You can give your pages
a distinct look - and a uniform branded style -without
the use of graphics.
Style sheets are much more
compact and specific than HTML formatting elements and
can be reused more easily.
