In the previous newsletter “How to create Flash Layout ? - Part 1” we discussed about creating buttons, graphics, mouse over, motion tween, movie clip & frame action.
Let’s continue with basics of Flash with following things to learn in the current Newsletter.

	Assigning actions to the buttons (Mouseover)
	Scrolling Text.
	Sounds for buttons.
	Background Sound.
	How to make a Loader ?

To give mouseover action to the 'About us button': -

1.	Select the 'About us button' layer.
2.	Choose Modify > Instance
3.	In the instance properties open actions window and click on 'On mouse event'
4.	In the event check boxes select 'Roll over'.
5.	In the action window select 'Tell target'.
6.	In the target window double click on the movie clip 'open panels'.
7.	In the actions window give action 'Go to and Play(2)'.
8.	Go to end on and once again give the same action of 'on mouse event'.
9.	Instead of putting Roll over, select Roll out and give action 'Go to and Play(12)'.
10.	Copy the actions given to 'About us button' and paste it for all the buttons.
11.	Choose Control > Test movie.
12.	You can see the mouse over and mouse out effect for all the buttons.
