> Library > news scroll movie clip
36. Double click
the 'news scroll' movie clip to go inside the movie
clip.
37. In that movie
clip you will find 'news' movie clip at frame 1.
38. Choose Insert
> Layer
39. Name the layer
as 'blank'
40. Select Window
> Library > blank movie clip.
41. Drag
'blank' movie clip from the library on the layer named
as 'blank'
42. The 'blank'
movie clip looks like a small dot on the stage.
43. Now come back
into the main scene.
44. Insert a new
layer below the layer named as 'news panel'
45. Name the layer
as 'news scroll'
46. Select Window
> Library > news scroll movie clip
47. Drag the 'news
scroll' movie clip from the library on the layer named
as 'news scroll'
(Place it properly
so that it can be visible through the blank area of the news
panel image.)
48. Insert a new
layer above the 'news panel' layer
for actions.
49. Name the layer
as 'actions'
50. Select frame
1 on the layer named as 'actions'

> Actions
52. In the Frame
Actions window type the following variable and the value against
it.

Choose Control
> Test Movie
Now you can see
the news scroll coming from the bottom of the news panel and
moving upwards. As soon as the scroll passes the top area
of news panel it starts once again from the bottom. This process
goes in a loop.
When you test the movie at this stage, the text is seen scrolling
beyond the news box borders. We have to put a dummy patch
over the news scroll movie clip and below the news panel with
a cut, to make the news scrolling visible within the news
panel area.
54. Insert a new
layer below the 'news scroll' layer
55. Name the layer
as 'bg patch'
56. Put a light
blue rectangular patch on that layer so that it can give a
nice look to the news panel.
57. Choose Control
> Test Movie
58. You can view
the news text scrolling dynamically through action script.
