71. Select the Rectangle Tool from the tools bar and draw a rectangle with white color fill and no border, see the image given below

72. Choose Window > Panels > Mixer

73. In the Mixer panel set Alpha = 0%

74. Select the Add Swatch from the Options Menu of Mixer panel, see the image given below


75. Select the layer named as Gradient Rect.

76. Choose Window > Panels > Fill

77. Select Linear Gradient from the Fill menu.

78. Click below the gradient defination bar to add a pointer between the two existing pointers. See the image given below


79. Click on the left pointer below the gradient defination bar, then click on the color box which appears next to the gradient defination bar.

80. Select the Transparent color from the color box. See the image given below.

81. Click on the right pointer below the gradient defination bar, then click on the color box which appears next to the gradient defination bar.

82. Select the Transparent color from the color box.

83. Click on the middle pointer below the gradient defination bar, then click on the color box which appears next to the gradient defination bar.

84. Select white color from the color box. See the image given below.

85. Select the layer named as Gradient Rect.

86. Choose Insert > Convert to Symbol...

87. Convert the rectangle into a movie clip and name it as 'gradient bar'.

88. Choose Window > Transform

89. In the Transform Panel set Rotate = -45

90. Place the gradient bar on the top right corner of the lines as shown in the image given below.

91. Select frame 100 on the layer named as Lines.

92. Choose Insert > Frame

93. Select frame 50 on the layer named as Gradient Rect.

94. Choose Insert > Keyframe

95. Place the gradient bar on the bottom left corner of the lines as shown in the image given below.

96. Select frame 10 on the layer named as Gradient Rect.

97. Choose Window > Panels > Frame

98. In the Frame panel, select Motion in the Tweening option.

99. Select frame 100 on the layer named as Gradient Rect.

100. Choose Insert > Frame

101. Select the layer named as Lines.

102. Choose Modify > Layer..

103. Click the Mask radio option and keep the Lock option on. See the image given below.

104 Select the layer named as Gradient Rect.

105. Choose Modify > Layer..

106. Click the Masked radio option and keep the Lock option on. See the image given below.

107. Masking layers will look as shown in the image given below.

108. Choose Window > Panels > Scene

109. Select Scene 1 from the Scene panel.

110. Choose Control > Test Movie

You can now view the image with color transitions and gradient line effect.
