| 1.
Insert a new layer (Choose Insert > Layer)
above the layer named as 'Background' 2.
Rename the layer as 'Submit Button'

On the layer named as 'Submit Button', draw a rectangle
with the 'Rectangle Tool'

Width = 74 px, Height = 20 px, color value of
the outline = #9BA6B7

Use the 'Paint Bucket Tool'
to apply Linear Fill in the background rectangle outline with
color values as #FFFFFF and #E1E6EA

Select the rectangle object along with its outline, convert it into a Movie
Clip (Choose Insert > Convert to Symbol)
with the Center Registration point selected and name it as 'button bg' 6.
Select Frame 1 on the layer named as 'Submit Button' 7.
Convert the 'button bg' Movie Clip into a Button (Choose Insert
> Convert to Symbol) with the center Registration point selected
and name it 'submit button' as shown in the image given below, 8.
Select Frame 1 on the layer named as 'Submit Button' 9.
Choose Edit > Edit in Place 10.
Rename the layer named 'Layer 1' as 'Button Bg' 11.
Select frame 4 i.e. Hit Area and Choose Insert
> Frame, as shown in the image given below, 12.
Insert a new layer (Choose Insert > Layer)
above the layer named as 'Button Bg' 13.
Rename the layer as 'Submit Text'

On the layer named as 'Submit Text', type the following
text 'Submit' with the Text Tool
and
in the Properties panel apply the following
text settings : Text Type = Static Text, Font = Arial,
Font Size = 12, Text (fill) Color = #697A94,
Text Align = Align Center, X position = -29 px
and Y position = -8 px.

Select frame 1 on layer named as 'Submit Text'. Convert it into
a Movie Clip with the center Registration point selected and name
it as 'submit text'. 16.
Insert a Keyframe (Choose Insert > Keyframe)
at frame 2 of layer named as 'Submit Text'. 17.
Select 'submit text' Movie Clip at frame 2 of the layer named as
'Submit Text' and in the Properties panel select the following options:
Color Style = Tint, Tint Color = #4E5A6D, Tint Amount = 100%. 18.
Choose Window > Scene 19.
In the Scene panel select 'Scene 1' to go back into Scene 1. 20.
Select 'submit button' button at frame 1 of layer named as 'Submit
Button'. In the Properties panel give an Instance name to it
as 'submit'. Also set its X position = 220 px and Y position
= 200 px. We
have finished creating the Submit Button and giving it an instance name
as 'submit'. An
Instance name is given to the button because in Flash MX we can
assign actions for buttons on a single frame in the Timeline. 21.
Insert a new layer (Choose Insert > Layer)
above the layer named as 'Submit Button' 22.
Rename the layer as 'Reset Button' 23.
Create Reset button in the same procedure as we have created the Submit button
and give it an Instance name as 'reset' 24.
After creating the Reset Button, place it on the layer named as 'Reset Button'
and set its X position = 310 px and Y position = 200 px as shown
in the image given below, |
