Your layouts / templates are
Flash (.FLA) files. Does it mean having Flash installed on my
machine is a pre-requisite ?

Yes, all the layouts are designed
using Macromedia Flash 4.0. Therefore, it is necessary that you
must have Flash 4.0 or a higher version installed in your system
to use the CD.

Are the flash layouts / templates
web-compatible ?

Of course, yes ! All these layouts
are designed keeping in mind web requirements. The .FLA files
offer you total flexibility. After customizing the layout as per
your need, the .FLA source must be exported as Movie in Shockwave
format. The size of the .SWF file will be approx. amount to 250
KB, inclusive of sounds and animations which can be easily embedded
with HTML page.

What is the scope of the term
‘ready - to - use' layouts ? Is it possible to upload your layout/
templates as a Web-site on the Net ?

The term ‘ready to use' layouts,
we mean a total of 50 ready Flash movies with the .FLA source.
All these templates/movies are given with systematic layer names.
As a user, you can select a layout of your choice, replace the
dummy logo with that of yours/your clients, insert relevant text
or copy in the space given, name the buttons, change the colours/sound.
However, the source cannot be uploaded directly as the .FLA file
must be converted to .SWF, embedded with the HTML page.

any way to suit you / your client's needs.Layout Galaxy Flashy
is basically a launch-pad for your imagination. These ready-to-use
Flash layouts offer you complete freedom - you can add, modify,
enhance the colour, pictures, sounds & buttons as per your choice.
What's more, to simplify things for all types of users, we have
classified the layouts into three broad categories - Normal (for
beginners), Medium (for people having some Flash knowledge) and
Advance ( for people having advanced knowledge).
Besides, you can always create your own Flash layouts drawing
from the vast library of buttons, graphics, images, sounds, preloaders,
etc. stored in the CD.

I have chosen a layout. How can I replace the
‘dummy' logo with my own logo ?

Each layout in Layout Galaxy Flashy
is a .FLA file, containing systematically named layers along with
a well-planned library. You can scan your logo, import the same
in any format that supports Flash 4.0. You can also create your
logo in Flash and place it upon the Logo graphic. The logo graphic
is located in the Logo folder, which will be found in the library
of your chosen layout. All you need to do is go to the Logo Folder
in the library, and come to the Logo Movie clip or Logo Graphic.
Delete the old logo in this Movie clip or Graphic and import your
New logo in its place.

How can I locate a specific layer that has
the logo ?

Its simple. All the layers are named
as per their content. The layer - with the name logo - is named
‘logo'. Alternatively, you can simply select the logo on the screen
and the layer on which it appears will automatically get selected.

for the web designer. It is aimed at making their work - more
powerful, more impactful, more speedy and simpler.
The whole purpose of this CD is
to enable Designers create Flash-enabled sites for their personal
and professional use. As a web-designer you can use these flash
layouts / templates to create individual web-sites of your client.
However, you cannot publish all
the layouts on your own web-site for your customers' selection/approval/purchase.
You are also refrained from any unauthorized copying, reproduction
or re-packaging of these layouts under some other name for commercial
sale.
The term ‘royalty-free usage'
is strictly limited to personal and professional usage of these
layouts as a reference for creating a client's website and does
not include any activity that will project / commercially promote
