Your Layouts are Photoshop (PSD) files. Does
that mean having Photoshop installed on my machine is a prerequisite?

Absolutely no. It is not necessary
as a PSD file can also be opened in various other softwares like
Corel Photopaint, Macromedia Fireworks, JASC's Paint shop Pro
etc.

Are your layouts / photoshop templates web-compatible
?

Of course, Yes ! All our web layouts
are designed keeping in mind Web requirements. We have given PhotoShop
source (PSD) files to provide you total flexibility. After customizing
as per your requirement, the PhotoShop file must be transferred
to Adobe Image ready, where through slicing and optimization,
the file size can be reduced to 40-60 KB.

What is the scope of the term- "Ready-to-use"
? Is it possible to directly upload your layout design as a home
page on the Net ?

By 'Ready-to-use' layouts,
we mean a total of 50 ready designs or web layouts . Additionally,
our CD offers a total of 100 PSD source files (where all the pictures
and designs are saved in different layers). As a user, you can
replace the 'dummy' pictures on the layout chosen by you with
pictures of your choice and use the same as a home-page. However,
one cannot upload the design directly because the PSD file has
to be sliced and optimized in Adobe Image Ready.
Here's how it is done : * Save the file in HTML format by using the
"save optimize" option.
* Open the HTML page in Macromedia Dreamweaver or FrontPage and
give hyperlinks.
* Your site is now ready to upload.
I want to compress a 2 to 4 MB photoshop file
to about 40-60kb ? Please help !

using Macromedia Flash 5.0. Therefore, it is necessary that you
must have Flash 5.0 or a higher version installed in your system
to use the CD.

Are the layouts / flash templates web-compatible
?

Of course, yes ! All these layouts
are designed keeping in mind web requirements. The .FLA files
offer you total flexibility. After customizing the layout as per
your need, the .FLA source must be exported as Movie in Shockwave
format. The size of the .SWF file will be approx. amount to 250
KB, inclusive of sounds and animations which can be easily embedded
with HTML page.

What is the scope of the term ‘ready - to -
use' layouts ? Is it possible to upload your layout/ templates
as a Web-site on the Net ?

The term ‘ready to use' layouts,
we mean a total of 50 ready Flash movies with the .FLA source.
All these templates/movies are given with systematic layer names.
As a user, you can select a layout of your choice, replace the
dummy logo with that of yours/your clients, insert relevant text
or copy in the space given, name the buttons, change the colours/sound.
However, the source cannot be uploaded directly as the .FLA file

a well-planned library. You can scan your logo, import the same
in any format that supports Flash 5.0. You can also create your
logo in Flash and place it upon the Logo Movie clip. The logo
Movie clip is located in the Logo folder, which will be found
in the library of your chosen layout. All you need to do is go
to the Logo Folder in the library, and come to the Logo Movie
clip. Delete the old logo in this Movie clip and import your new
logo in its place.
