Color fill, as the name suggests, fills everything on a particular layer with a specific color. All elements present in the layer would be applied with the specified color.
The Image here shows the color fill options box.

To apply Color Fill effect, Select Layer 1.

Right click on Layer 1.

Select Effects.

Deselect Apply option, to deselect Drop Shadow effect.

Select Color Fill instead of Drop Shadow.

Click on Apply option.

Click on OK.
