Converting selections to
paths |
Sometimes, we may want to change a
corner point to a curve or vice versa. The convert-direction-point
tool is used to make the adjustment. To convert a corner to
a curve, we drag on the anchor point and to convert a curve
to a corner point, we just click on the anchor point.
| Converting Paths
in to Selections |
We can convert paths to selections. With
their smooth outlines, paths let us make precise selections.
With the Pen Tool highlighted, select on
the area to be selected. The area is selected.
Painting paths adds pixels that appear when
we print an image. Painting is done by either stroking or
filling. Stroking paints color along the path and filling
paints a closed path with color, an image or a pattern. Before
painting we have to make sure that the path is selected.
