In this session, we shall learn how to apply
colors, how to choose color modes, how to adjust colors and
how to make sure that you are using the right colors for individual
projects.
Color Mode is a way of describing colors.
RGB color mode is based on RGB color model that relies on
mixing different values of Red, Green and Blue to create most
of the colors in the spectrum. Indexed color mode is specifically
developed for images that appear on web pages and other computer-based
multimedia.
Channels stores information about color
elements in the image. There are various types of channels
to manipulate with the colors used in the image. Color Channels
are used to store the color information for an image. Alpha
channels stores masks that allows editing specific parts of
an image. The spot color channel lets you specify color separations
for painting an image with spot color inks.
Click on File
menu.
Click on
New (Ctrl + N), to
create a new file, the New dialog box appears.
Click OK.
