CMYK - stands for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow
and Black which are the printing inks used to make high-quality
color publications. Photoshop enables to preview and to convert
RGB image to CMYK color mode. CMYK color mode uses four channels,
which contains 256 brightness levels the color space of CMYK
color is not large as RGB color. Printing inks cannot fully
capture everything in RGB mode. So even though more capability
for colors is expressed in CMYK mode, it is not visually rich
as RGB.
CMYK color model and the resulting colors
RGB and Black are shown in the image when the primary colors
overlap. CMYK color mode is subtractive. Adding all the primary
colors together results in black as shown in the image
