With the Painting Tools |
The opacity setting for the paintbrush tool
is to determine the transparency of brush strokes. The lower
the value, the more transparent the paint. This is only one
of the options you can specify for a painting or editing tool
by using its options palette.
Generally, each painting and editing tool
has its own options and brushes that you specify in the options
palette and brushes palette, respectively. Shortcut to increase
the size of the brush is right square brackets( ] ) and the
Shortcut to decrease the size of the brush is left square
brackets( [ ).

In the toolbox, click the Magic
Wand Tool (W).
Click within the Mr. Sun's body. Then hold
down Shift and click within the Mr. Sun's face. Continue clicking
until you have selected all the area within the sun's body.
To open the Layer
palette, Choose Window
and Click on Show Layers (F7).
Click the new
Layer Button at the bottom of
the Layer palette.
