Let us select the cactus and fill
it with color. In the Layer palette,
make sure that the Painting layer is the active layer. In
the toolbox, Double-Click the Lasso
Tool to display its Options
palette.
In the Lasso
Options palette, enter a value
of 3 in the Feather text
box.
Create a rough selection around the cactus,
using the cactus as a guide. End the selection by crossing
the starting point.
Click the Paint
Bucket Tool (K) in the toolbox.
This tool fills a selection or image with flat color.
In the Swatches
palette, select a color.
