The Actions palette allows us to combine
a set of commands into a single command or action and then execute
the action on a single file or multiple files within a folder.
With the actions palette, we can record, play, edit and delete
commands to easily automate common techniques. The image shows
the Actions
palette.
Unlike the Undo command, which undoes
only the last performed operation, the History
Palette allows us to undo changes
and step back through recent changes.
The History palette lets us undo a
series of tool operations or commands known as states.
Each state is listed with the name of the tool or command
used to change the image with the oldest state at the top
of the list followed by more recent states.
Using this palette, we can return
to an earlier version of the drawing and continue working
from that point. The image shows the History
Palette.
The Swatches Palette allows us to
select colors using the Eyedropper tool. Choosing a color
within an image is called as Sampling
a color. You can save sampled colors for future use by storing
them in the Swatches palette. The image shows the Swatches
Palette.
The Brushes
Palette allows us to select
the required brush while painting, based on the design of
the image. The image shows the Brushes
Palette.
